Demanding Reforms

Hey malte!
I would like to use this opportunity to say what a fucking brilliant job you have done in creating a leftist forum as this. All credit goes to you.
However, there are a few things that i and other comrades are a bit pissed about.
What is the need in the rating system in this forum.
Surely by not having such rankings and level people will feel as tho they are not equal in this forum. By taking the ranking off people will respect each other in the posts they make to each other rather than the number of posts.
No ranking = No inequalities.
No ranking = People concentrate more on the conent of their posts

i agree with TavareeshKamo on this one, this issue has come up a few times in the past, i believe in equality, and i don't a furum ssuch ass this needs the ranks.

I must point out that having ran an ikonboard before, the ranks are hard to get rid of and the only real way is to have personal ranks for all members and have the other ranks for people who don't want a personal one, or can't think of one.

you'd alsohave to replace the pictures to white blocks to get rid of the stars.

Basicly, I think you should just let people choose personal ranks if they want.

That's a good idea, why can't malte give us personal ranks if we want. Nothing like you have to get to 1000 posts or something but you can choose to have a personal rank if you want but you'll still have the stars.

I agree with TK on the first item- I think this website is great.
But I disagree on the rating system. Big whoop. Every couple of weeks someone *****es about it. It's Malte's board. If they're there, it's because he put them there. Like El_Che says, YOU are the one putting so much importance on it. They don't bother me in the least.

Those who know me... know I'm not about to do that. Just because I've been a loyal supporter of this community... and have posted alot... only means I wan't to support places on the web to express and generate leftist ideas. It does not mean... that I know better than anyone elce... because I have four damn stars... or that I'm 30 while most are younger (except Rebel, Chancho, Etc)

There's this show on in the US... where this republican guy has a pannel of people he lets express their opinions. Then he tells them that they are all wrong, " the correct answer is..." he always says... I hate people like that...
