The name of the game is simple. Just tell us your first impression of the poster above and what you think of him now.

First impression: He thought modern warfare 2 was good, fuck him
Now: This guy's alright.

First impression was that you must be a very rugged man living somewhere in rural Vermont who owned a bunch of guns; now from from further talking to you, you informed me you weren't very rugged at all.

First impression: I kind of thought you were a bit annoying when you joined up (which is how I tend to feel about most new users because i'm weird about meeting new people and jealous of people who aren't as shy about posting as I am...)
Once we actually started talking I realized you're pretty awesome.

You are a really nice guy, and I like your name, which I do not understand, but enjoy none the less

Which sect did you think I subscribed to?
I just pick what I like out of the tendancies and have merged it to make a super-tendency.

I always thought you were pretty cool. I said to myself "That Mari3L person is pretty cool."

I said nothing of the sort.

My first impression of you was that you seem like a really knowledgeable guy, especially with sciencey stuff.

My first impression was that you were pretty cool (once I found out you were a mom, I kinda figured that you were probably a pretty sweet mom). I also thought that you seemed to have some of the same issues as me and I wished that you didn't have to go through that. I think I mostly know you from the non-political subforum.

You seem to be a sort of 'hitchens'. I love your sig, and your comments are usually funny, if not a poem or some other literary piece. Are you no longer 'engaged'?

What does this mean? And I am still engaged; were trying to decide on a location, we're leaning towards eloping in Vegas.
First opinion of you was that you have an avatar of the Simpson's episode where Lenin awakens from death, so you were cool. You also seem to post alot in non-political, which I do as well.

You seem to enjoy alcohol and smoking, and generally a nice person.
I thought your relationship went when you weren't invited to vox populi's party. I don't know why you remind me of hitchens, but it's probably because it was in your sig when I made an account after months of lurking

Haha well you've seemed to have a fairly accurate first impression; although I'm not sure about that 'nice person' bit.
And what party was this, prey tell? Perhaps I'll have to have a word with that young lady.

Which Marxists would you invite to your party.

I don't remember my first impression of you, but you like Hunter S Thompson so you have good taste in books, and you seem like an all round nice person in the PYHO thread.

Correct, due to my my obsession with Fallout, John Wayne and Westerns.

Ahem, to clarify, the thread said 'historical people' and while I think Mr. Nine is of fairly high historical import, I wanted to conform to the thread template.
He also is a very nice person, he's just being silly.
Anywho, back to the thread.
You've always seemed really nice and caring and I always feel that I wish I could do something to make you feel better when I see your posts in PYHO.
You seem very nice and cool and I wish I knew you better. :(

I am weird, and my posts probably are boring when compared to the range and quality of interesting posts on rev left. Why the change of heart?

It just takes me a while to warm up to people. I've had similar changes of heart with members who have ended up becoming good friends of mine.
