"At the risk of sounding ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by feelings of love"

"I am not a liberator. Liberators do not exist. The people liberate themselves "

"'It is not a matter of wishing success to the victim of aggression, but of sharing his fate; one must accompany him to his death or to victory.'"

"to accomplish much you must first loose evertthing."

"Whenever death may surprise us, let it be welcome if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear and another hand reaches out to take up our arms. "

Here are a few of my faves,

"I retain a deep-seated Argentinian aspect due to my upbringing. Yet at the same time I feel as much a Cuban as anyone else"

"It is a political experience to have met FIDEL, the revolutionary Cuban. He is a young man who is intelligent, very sure of himself and extremely audicious: I believe that we have a lot in common."

"We are face to face with history and quite simply we must not be afraid!"

There was once a thread here about favorite che quotes. I think you need to search in the older threads. My favorite che quote has to be "A true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality." There are a lot of others things though that Che says that are also very inspirational. :)

Mine favourites are:

'If you tremble indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine." (I like it because according to it I am a comrade of him)

"Let's be realistic and try the impossible" (Now this is the quote that inspires me and I use it very often)

That was a line in his letter to his children when he left Cuba, it goes like this...

"Above all, try always to be able to feel deeply any injustice committed against any person in any part of the world. It is the most beautiful quality of a revolutionary."

I am not interested in dry economic socialism. We are fighting against misery, but we are also fighting against alienation.

"as marxists we have maintained that peaceful coexistance among nations does not include coexistance between the exploiters and the exploited, the oppressor and the oppressed"

this was an attack on the russian attempt to achieve peaceful coexistance with the us.

Contray...Guerava once was qouted by saying that if he was in charge of the USSR's nuclear weapons in Cuba, he would of ''launched'' them into the U.S.

isn't it possible that he said that in a fit of rage...? Rage can make very rational people say irrational things.

He did... on hearing that the USSR were ''backing'' down from the USA...I have believe that he yelled it at his secertary and then again at Fidel. Nevertheless he still proberly meant it to an extent !
