the doctors are great tough, they have to witness some of the most incredibly disturbing things imaginable and they do it without question.

Exactly... Their political analyses are complete shit and you will learn nothing that you can't learn with browsing a wiki-page for 5 minutes. Yet I must say I do believe you get a sense of what is going on in the daily lifes of people in certain places and their documentaries are fun to watch, altough they are completely uninformative.
