How do we contain and suppress the current rise in fascist sentiments internationally? What can we do to fight it at home and abroad? Do you think that this current trend will last or is it a temporary thing? Should we be worried?

Thank you

interestingly, fascism is incredibly compatible with capitalism. as capitalism requires it logistically. massive corporations are the most fascist systems ever devised by man. corporations attempt to appear politically and legally transparent. disguised as the notion of "business" these organizations attempt to make themselves appear as though a part of the very fabric of economics. implying that without them there would be no economic interaction. essentially, the established structure the plutocratic class has developed to maintain control and economic suppression can be observed as applied fascism.

increasing class consciousness may be the only way to fight them, and understanding our jobs is the only way to observe class based society. all jobs, or more accurately, skill sets are designed to be menial to some degree. our jobs are menial in the sense of simplicity, however not menial in the sense of priority, as these jobs increase in profitability as they increase in volume. this fact shows us two things, one that our economy is very much planned despite fictional descriptions of free markets. and two, the majority of jobs aren't menial due the nature of people but rather the nature of those who design our jobs.

Where they pose a practical threat to minorities, workers, immigrants, etc. counter violence can be used to protect the groups in question as well as possibly attract them to radical political positions. We can also try to out propagandize them on the political front and find the most effective means for communicating that radical ideas represent the interests of the working class as opposed to reactionary ideas, as well as oppressed minorities, and also communicate that ethnic and cultural minorities are the ally of white (or whatever is the dominant ethnicity in any given region) working class and not the enemy.

All in all not just sitting idly by while the fascists become popular and develop momentum.

The existence of the bourgeoisie and the monetary system fuels fascism, nationalism and capitalism IMO. Eliminate those, and wait for current fascists to die off. Hopefully only a few will be left after they realize what a stupid ideology it is once living in a post-revolutionary world.

The revolutionary working class organization must challenge and refute white supremacy and other reactionary philosophy and propaganda on a daily basis, and counter fascist mobilization and attacks with armed self defense and street fighting when necessary.

History shows that efforts at censorship is usually a disaster. Similar to what lowtech says, everything in fascism finds a parallel in capitalism and the struggle against fascism is inseperable from the struggle against capitalism.

The rise of fascist organisations is due to the failure of the reformists to counter the current austerity attacks.

We wait until a large herd of fascistas are inside a building, cover all exits with rifles/shotguns (any weapon really), then throw molotovs, the survivors are gunned down

If you run down a fascism checklist, and picture the USA government in the hands of GOP wackos, do you see strong similarities?

the best way would be to organize the working class into a workers party, so we can present an alternative to fascism, like SYRIZA is doing pretty well. The bolsheviks presented themselves as the alternative to Tzarism or the Kadet party when the working class had a revolutionary upsurge, in a time of a depression and a gigantic war, so we have to do the same thing as socialists. Sure there is the whole inglorious basterds rout, but we need to have perspective for the long run, violence in the streets won't really connect the anti fascist struggle to the working class. Obviously defensive violence is a different story.

We have to keep in mind though that fascism is the bourgeois last stand before a revolution breaks out, or in a period when a revolution fails to break out as we saw in Germany, so we need to beat them to the punch.

Fascism in the on the rise in the United States and it is first and foremost racially motivated. I can see the racism growing along side with the vapid defense of capitalism. People on places like Fox News make racial comments all the time and it's audience accepts it. The "alt community" (the Alex Jones type) hand pick out Jews as the evil rulers of the world and if you go far enough you even see people going on about how races that aren't white are actually less human that other people. I've fucking seen it, and I've seen how it's growing. Not to mention the nationalist movements that are growing in eastern Europe and groups like the Golden Dawn in Greece. Fascism is on the rise plain and simple.

interestingly, fascism is incredibly compatible with capitalism

To quote the liberal economist Fredrick Hayeck : "Fascism was the capitalist response to communism." From The Road To Serfdom

I think this is another reason why we see a rise in fascism. There seems to be an elevation of class conciseness throughout the world, and just like in the past, those who have power (the bourgeoisie and the state that acts as their executive branch) try to take class anger and turn it into racial anger while promoting capitalism at the same time. It happened after the Civil War, it happened after WWII, and it's still happening. If the fascists are going to get up on their soapbox we need to as well and we need to gain the ear's of more people. We need to act while all we need is their attention, if we can't get their attention now while the fascists can, we're going to be totally fucked when fascists are telling them to take action.
