China is one of the largest economies in the world and has a huge opressed proletariat. It also holds a key position in the world economy by being the global centre of industrial production. In my view China ought to be central in the class struggle.

I guess that only a small minority can take the 'communism' of the Chinese Communist Party serious. I know that the Chinese police state is preventing any real opposition to form but I'm still wondering if there are any organised socialist organisations or labour activity in China. I haven't heard about it but I would like to learn more.

I heard that the CWI has a section in Hong Kong. Also I heard there was a major Maoist faction in the Tinmean revolt, I'll try to look up the article

There were 180,000 major protests and riots in China in 2010, about 500 a day. I can't post links, but a quick Google search will turn it up. I recommend looking into the writing of Minqi Li, who has written extensively on the topic, including some articles for Monthly Review.
