Hey I was wondering if there were any actual arguments from Stalinists, or I suppose the ideological descendents of the opportunists of that era defending the no strike pledge during World War Two in both the U.S. and Britain, defending the no strike pledge during the world war. Anybody who opposed the no strike pledge, and backing the U.S. and U.K. governments at that time, was kicked out of their respective CP, and in the case of the SWP, was ratted out to the F.B.I. by whoever Comintern's favorites in the CP-USA were, namely William Foster and Earl Browder.
This all ties into popular frontism as well, so I guess we're going to eventually touch on that.
