so a few months ago the "nationale recherche", our new, nationwide majorcrime police force (say the dutch FBI) found out that an oldtimer drug trader called stanley hilles was going to have an meeting on this parkinglot with an other gangster. so they stashed themselves with a shit lot of audio and video equipment in a small trailer to record the meeting. Only chance had it that a 3th criminal apparently got wind of the same meeting and decided to shoot Hilles on arrival. So the cops happened to capture the liquidation of a major drugtrader on video which would seem to be a big break for them as there has been a wave of organized crime liquidations in the last years and most of them remain unsolved.
but even with it happening right in front of a whole team of best cops and the speedy deployment of a helicopter the shooters managed to escape without a hitch and the cops, very embarrassed of course, has been turning towards the public for help for months now.
but today the story even got better, next to the footage of the liquidation one of the major focus points of the investigation over the past few months has been a black VW that was seen a few days before canvassing the scene. the cops have been begging the public for information on this car and its occupants, even going so far as releasing a sketch artist impression of the driver...
today they had to admit they have spent these months looking for one of their own cars and cops and the killers remain as elusive as ever. :rolleyes:
