I've also heard some whispers... Aurora/Sandy Hook were conspiracies staged to take our guns away or some shit like that. Also Sandy Hook was apparently on a map in some Batman movie and thus its a conspiracy. I don't know. Anyone have more information on this shit?

It's actually very common to laugh in non-amusing situations. Watch the videos of the Milgram experiment, for example, and you'll see that quite a few of the subjects spend the whole time oscillating between hysterical laughter and proper head-in-hands crying; clearly none of them were laughing because they found what was going on funny or light-hearted - on the contrary, they were laughing in reaction to the extreme stress of the situation. It's perfectly conceivable that somebody may find themselves laughing in the face of intense grief, seems it's somewhat of an emotional defence mechanism or I dunno what exactly, I'm not exactly a psychologist. All I know is that there's nothing to prevent moments of levity during periods of sadness, and in a situation where one has not only lost a child in such a manner, but is now expected to address the nation on live TV in the name of that very same child (a quite extraordinary undertaking, to be honest, because very few people find their personal tragedies instantly transformed into a global media frenzy of which they are 'the voice'), it's perfectly understandable that the unimaginable stress could burst out in the form of laughter, thereby releasing the tension a little.
