there are a lot of these type of shootings in what appear to be rich white communities - is this a wealthy community?
what goes on in those places?

Situations like this and Brevik were the only ones where one could possibly argue for the death penalty. Exile is out of the question for people like this seeing as they'd become somebody else's problem. They're also usually not insane, they don't see the difference between what they are doing and what the army is doing. Society as a whole is ignoring its own hypocracy, we praise murderers overseas as heroes but the ones here, killing white people, are "terrorists." The mass media and our value system, praising the military over teachers and humanitarians, not video games or movies, are to blame imo.

Saw this on the news, fucking horrific. it's almost on par with what breivik did, if not the same...how could anyone just kill children? makes me furious and heartbroken at the same time.

and yes, Gramsci Guy, as far as I am aware the news has been saying that it was Adam Lanza, and that his brother has just been questioned. apparently his mother is dead too, though i'm not sure about the circumstances. it's all just a horrible fucking mess
