If anybody is interested a friend of mine just sent me the url of the great streaming site. It's called Radio Takeover (http://www.radiotakeover.com). Aside from the fact they have five different channels and accept requests, they'll play your buddy's band if you upload their demo (although you do have to join for that). I highly recommend it for anybody looking for an alternative to normal radio fare.
