So it's basically the same disgusting story we've all heard before, police shoot a man who was supposedly wielding a knife when he wasn't, shot numerous times even after he is down after being shot(while he wasn't resisting in anyway), the cop gets a couple days of paid vacation, the police investigate themselves and find that nothing wrong happened.
A couple hours ago the family posted a comment on Facebook(which I can't copy and paste from my phone god damnit) saying that their attorney John Burris(who represented Oscar Grants family)will be holding a press conference tomorrow at 11 a.m. at their office at 7677 Oakport St, Oakland where they will show the dash cam video of what happened. They're asking for people to come down to support them. Unfortunately I have no way of getting to Oakland tomorrow but I thought it would be nice for some Bay Area folks to go show some support.
