do you have

any diagnoses

i have two

adhd

and

asperger's

but

to be fair

i simulated

asperger's

for my

psychologist

because

autistics

get better

social benefits

and adhd people

I actually have Asperger's and I think it's kind of bullshit to fake it to get a diagnosis.

Plus I have generalized anxiety disorder and some sort of depression (which nobody seems to be able to decide whether I have major depressive disorder or dysthymia.)

And honestly, I think there's other things wrong with me that haven't been diagnosed, but my psychiatrist sucks, so, whatever.

Given the Jenny incident the diagnosis seems proper aside from any "simulations".

To answer your question, I have been diagnosed with depression of more than a few occasions.

it's easy

if you have

a shit

psychiatrist

just

say

you were bullied

had no friends

had few

sexual partners

and

correct

them

on details

and you'll get

asperger's

i'll did it

that way

and yes

i've decided

to retire

i can live

on

government handouts

i have spent

most of

my adult life

dumpster-diving

stealing

and yes

it has

a certain charm

but right now

i'm just

lazy

I am extremely skeptical of most psychiatric diagnoses.

I've been diagnosed with depression and although I don't have a diagnosis for it, also have some sort of anxiety.

I was diagnosed with anxiety at one point. Admittedly I didn't have it very bad at all...the brief interview I gave with the doctor went something like this: "so, do you experience any nervousness in social settings?" "Uh, yeah, sometimes I guess" "Interesting...here's a prescription I think will help." Got a Xanax prescription which I took for a month.

That's it, though.

That's actually pretty irritating. I guess if autistics get a ton of government handouts where you're from and if you have been dumpster-diving to get by, then do what you have to do; I don't understand why you're proud of mocking people with Asperger's, though. That's the annoying part. One could even make the argument that you're being an asshole.

Maybe, I didn't read the whole "jenny and me" thread but there are probably a couple other diagnoses associated with the violence.

I was diagnosed with dysthymic disorder. I don't have intense episodes of depression, but I just kind of exist with malaise.

i am too

i would claim

that everyone

who isn't

diagnosed

with adhd

has problems

they are

"too adapted"

ADD and HIQ. Last one sounds great, but works out to be alienating, depressing and irritating.

I have the short term memory of a goldfish, i'm depressed every two months, i've got mood swings a menopausing woman would be proud of and i'm kinda hyper every so often.
My jokes are weird and i talk a lot. People dislike me in an instant or after a period of time.
Also i've been picked on at school and at work, so i developed the skin of a rhino.
Still hurts as fuck though. Even got me to the point i swore i would never come to. Picking back at them.

It all means i have virtually no friends (at least not of the non-virtual kind).
I've had a major break-down about two years ago when i had a burn-out. Couldn't stop crying.

Happy now though!

How about Aspbergers syndrome?

How about Aspbergers syndrome?

i feel sorry

for those

who have it

it's hard

to never

be spontaneous

or understand

the intentions

of others

i am actually

very popular

socially

until

i do

something crazy

i am more

like

jack sparrow

than

sheldon

I hate how self-diagnosing AS has become such a huge thing on the internet because it trivializes the actual struggles that some go through.

that's

the beauty

of it

i am

officially

diagnosed

since

2009

because

i simulated

during

the talks

with

the shrinks

so

on paper

i've got

asperger's

which means

less

stringent

demands

on me

to cut

my hair

and

join

the labour pool

Job well done, Avanti. Any port in a storm. Now I hope you find a therapist you can be honest with about your childhood.
