Does anyone have any information on this or know of anywhere where I could find any? Like, what the requirements are for doing it, what circumstances you do it under, etc.

Has anyone here ever done it?

It's pretty institution, and even course of study, specific but it usually occurs in your second or third years at university (from what I've seen). Talk to your office of student affairs or whatever the analogue of that would be to see what they say, that's probably your best resource.

I took a class with a ezln affiliated language school in Chiapas through Mexico solidarity network, which is now accredited through an American university. I think they have semester programs too. I recommend checking it out.

I studied for a year in Argentina, but as others have said that was through my university.

It was pretty much just emailing the associated office and them putting me on a list as well as giving me financial aid options to actually do it.

mastersportal (.eu) is a very useful website, you can search for undergrad, postgrad, doctorate degree throughout Europe.
It shows which universities offer the degree you want to do, how much it costs and the prerequisites.
