I'm sorry, how the hell did Red Tails win best film of the year, I'd give it MAYBE 5/10, and that would be for special effects alone.

Judging from the fact that nearly every other movie was a runner up, I would have to guess the few people that were actually voting ended up having that spread out over a large choice of movies. So only one movie needed a single vote to rise above the rest.

Thanks for doing a great job RA. Also a million thanks to those who nominated me as moderator of the year, which I won although shared with others. :)

There's just one thing that puzzles me, I'm fairly sure I nominated the CWI as favourite political org (http://www.revleft.com/vb/showpost.php?p=2544921&postcount=19) but it isn't listed there. But that doesn't matter - I just hope the person who voted for the Muslim Brotherhood was being ironic.

I hope more people participate next year, hopefully I'll be able to help out more in advertising the awards.

I have to admit I'm mildly disappointed. Would have been better if more people voted.

To be fair, I think I voted for less than half of the categories because I didn't know what to put.

It's almost sad how excited I was when I saw that I actually won something. IRL I'm the kind of person who never gets picked for anything. (Plus the fact that it was nicest member was also great because being nice is something I actually have to work really hard at sometimes, but it never seems like anyone notices my efforts.)

TL;DR (and if that's the case you're impressively lazy) I love you all :) Even if you didn't vote for me. Even if you didn't vote at all.

As usual, I'm in the running year in and out for the Most Controversial User and the Highest Theoretical Level. :)

I'd suggest a change in format next year. Have public nominations so people can discuss them. That way you'll generate more interest and momentum. You'll also avoid people being nominated for the wrong categories and nominated twice for the same category which happened a lot last year if I remember rightly. Maybe some new categories as well.
