ok
I know when Bowie is the subject, it's almost impossible to compare his different phases and albuns and how hard it is to point which one is your favorite
but I know that u guys will be very kind contribuing to this poll
I think I'll choose Ziggy, though it's a tough one...

I don't have one. I like some of what he's done over the years and absolutely HATED some other stuff.
However I have new found respect for him ever since I heard that he told the queen to shove her OBE!!!! If only more would follow this great example!!!

Old I know, but Iggy did the original!
My favorite album by Bowie is Aladdin Sane, wich isnt in here while Outside and Reality are, wich suck.
Everything he did after Let's Dance sucked.
I voted Low, classic stuff.

Not to keen on his pre-70s stuff, the glam records is when he got really good. I also like Young Americans, but my favourite phase of his is Station To Station and the 'Berlin trilogy' he did straight after. Voted Station To Station just because I couldn't decide between my favourite four.
Question for conspiracy theorists: I wonder what these two gentlemen's secret sign language meant?

I'd venture to say Ziggy Stardust is not only the best Bowie album, but my personal choice for best album of all time. Every song from start to finish is fantastic.
I also have very vivid and fond memories of the album during a hallucinogen experience, especially Moonage Daydream. :D

Agreed.
Although Space Oddity is a good song.

I was torn between Ziggy and Low. Low was such an influential album which seemed to come out of nowhere and had a massive impact on post-Punk bands like Buzzcocks, Magazine, Joy Division, Cabaret Voltaire and Clock DVA.
But I agree with plagueround, Ziggy is an almost perfect album so in the end I went for that. BTW, the opener, Five Years is Bowie's best song ever imo.

Bowie's favourite album was Station to Station as he was so high when he made it he can't actually remember making it.
