Dear friends,
For starters, I am from the Netherlands. A country that secretly loves the shit out of capitalism and consumerism, but, generally, speaks of itself as a country that loves helping the poor. Of course, that isn't quite true, but opinions, opinions. The majority of the left wing scene here is composed of people calling themselves so, not because of a deeply rooted solidarity with the 'losers' that are put out to dry by the current system or because of opposition to the way things are run - but because they possess a profound love of the color red.
As for my own views, I've been everywhere and I am quite ashamed to admit that it has taken me a while to find the right(or left!) course. I am as of yet still reading, learning. And I am always willing to read up on new ideas and to explore new concepts. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask them. Constructive criticisms are always welcome as well. I like broadening my horizons! ^_^
During my time here I hope to learn much and to meet likeminded individuals with whom to discuss theories.
