Red salute to Raneeta, a brave Naxalite guerrilla who fought like a tigress and killed several bourgeois pigs before succumbing to superior forces. IMO PPW might be an appropriate tactic in India, just can see it working in the USA. I am all for Naxalites fighting for revolution as they see fit, after all they know their own country better than I do.

And here is a good article on the Universality of PPW. The main point that it makes is that it notes that many communists who want to replicate the Russian Revolution are flawed in their understanding of what actually happened, and why insurrection is bound to fail.

Shouldn't we communists, out of all people, refrain from using this more boneheaded approach to military affairs that looks more fitting for rightists? I mean we communists have suffered countless massacres, tortures and wars of extermination than most groups of people. It is worth remembering that Raneeta's last 6 hours were scarier than anything we can even imagine, scarier than any movie/book/videogame or anything most of us have experienced, that the wounds and the pain she suffered was very very real and needless to say, very very painfull, and finnally that we, as the atheists we are, should remember that has existence came to an end on that day, never to return. I prefer seeing this way, because of instead of reducing the amount of badassery from her actions, it only makes her sacrifice look more noble and glorious.
