This is from bits and pieces I've picked up...
It appears that US "peacekeeping" troops are being sent to the Sinai as part of a recent deal between Morsi, Obama and Netanyahu. It appears the US troops will in reality be targeted against Iran and their real mission will be to stop Iranian war material getting to Gaza.
This might or might not have some connection with Morsi recently assuming near dictatorial powers.
There is a theory that this whole thing was set up before hand between Obama and Netanyahu as a way of inserting US troops into the region.
Russia is sending warships to the coast of Gaza.

Is this how WWIII starts?
I'm checking some other sources, we've heard about this kind of stuff numerous times without it being true.
Edit: haven't found anybody I would call credible yet.

Al Jazeera reports on whatever the Emir and his people say to report on. They don't even have to make a phone call they have the script sent over beforehand of what is allowed and what is not. Did you know that USA mercenaries during tours of murdering people in Afghanistan and Iraq go on vacation to Qatar?
Disclaimer - the comment above in no way says the above story is credible

But they're usually a better source on Middle Eastern affairs than other sources.

Yes, but they don't appear to have posted anything on Gaza or Palestine in a week!
From a search on Google news, there are some stories reporting that Russia has deployed ships to evacuate Russian nationals from Gaza.
CNN has reported that the US is also maintaining/adding naval presence there:

U.S. considers increasing military presence in Mediterranean
By Barbara Starr
Senior U.S. military officials are considering increasing the American military presence in the Mediterranean because of what they see as growing instability in recent months, CNN has learned.
"This is post-Benghazi," one military official told CNN. "We're looking at instability in Libya, Egypt, Syria and now Israel and Gaza."
The official who has direct knowledge of the discussions declined to be identified because of the sensitive nature of the information.
The Pentagon is looking at a number of options, according to military officials. The easiest would be to extend deployments of Navy ships passing through the region.
The Navy just extended by at least 10 days the tour of three amphibious ships carrying more than 2,000 Marines, Harrier jets, V-22 tilt rotor aircraft and a variety of helicopters, as CNN first reported last week.
Those tours were extended as a result of the conflict in Gaza as a precautionary measure should there have been a need to evacuate Americans from Israel. A cease-fire was reached on Wednesday after a week of violence.

Sites like "Before it's news" and such are paranoid alarmist sites that conspiracy theorists use to so it's not a credible source.
