Hello,

I have been looking at this site for awhile now and have decided to join. As my name suggests I am a scientist, my field is molecular biology. I self-identify as a Trotskyist or Bolshevik-Leninist. Because I value my privacy, I will only say that I have spent a lot of time Eastern Europe, and because of my conversations with former economists and politicians from there I have transitioned from being a 'normal' progressive democrat to my current political stance.

TL:DR,

I am glad to be here and I hope to add at least some of what I take.

Romania, actually, though I am not a fan of Ceausescu, though I did meet his niece. Its amazing having been to most of Eastern Europe how many people want the days of communism back after 20 years of capitalism.

Good to have you! I hope you can help contribute to the economic section which has been sadly stagnating

Hello there! I don't know much about mol. bio. but I would love to hear your take on any interesting developments or analysis of current events relating to it. That isn't to mention that I'd also like to hear your political dispositions.

Perhaps there is an opening for Trotskyism to develop in Romania, although Ceausescu's regime was not merely a deformed workers' state, but a deranged one. Living down the Ceausescu legacy must be a difficult challenge for Romanian comrades.

Welcome to RevLeft.

Welcome, comrade!
I'm currently finishing off my degree in evolutionary biology, and it's good to see others involved in the sciences on here :thumbup1:
