Cuba Says Guantanamo Prison a Concentration Camp
Fri Dec 26, 1:01 PM ET

HAVANA (Reuters) - Cuba has charged the United States with running a concentration camp at the Guantanamo base on the eastern tip of the island, in the government's first attack on use of the facility to hold terror suspects.

"In the territory illegally occupied by the Guantanamo naval base, hundreds of foreign prisoners are subjected to indescribable abuses," said a statement passed by parliament earlier this week and broadcast by the state-run media on Friday.

Communist-run Cuba's National Assembly said prisoners were isolated and denied the right to communicate with their families or to prepare an adequate defense.

"Some of the few freed have spoken of the horrors of this concentration camp," said the statement, appealing to lawmakers throughout the Americas to halt U.S. human rights violations related to the war on terror.

President Fidel Castro (news - web sites)'s government surprised observers when after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington it offered logistical support to Washington as it transformed the base at Guantanamo into a prison for suspected Taliban soldiers from Afghanistan (news - web sites).

Since Castro came to power in a 1959 revolution the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay has been a flash-point of hostilities between the two countries.

Castro insists the area is illegally occupied by the United States which leases it under a pre-revolution agreement.

Castro refuses to cash U.S. checks for use of the base, which he keeps in a desk drawer to show visitors and reporters.

Havana, up to now, has refrained from criticizing Washington's use of the naval base even as international unease with conditions there mounts.

The United States has kept more than 600 people from several countries captive for nearly two years at Guantanamo following the undeclared war against the Taliban government in Afghanistan and al Qaeda. Earlier this month, a U.S. appeals court ruled that they can not be held indefinitely and cannot be denied lawyers.

Do you get the feeling that the values of American leadership has changed? The last election was rigged. The Trade Center towers demolished with no investigation still. America has been hijacked and its complacent passengers are too afraid to find out who flys the plane.

Castro might say something. He knows WAY more than he lets on.

Leadership changed? Yes.

Last election rigged? No, but ballots were changed over or disregarded for not being perfectly punched.

WTC investigation? Why would they investigate when they already found out it was UBL  .

I was refering to the values of the leadership in a very general way, almost facetiously.

There were 50,000 voters status's changed to keep them from voting. They were listed as "convicts". Then there were the overlooked chads. Nader is controlled. Secret society. The secret that keeps itself. He does not know he is controlled.

Above I say "demolished". I mean it. There is no way planes took the towers down. I'm not even convinced that there were terrorists flying those planes. The second tower hit shows a plane doing a turn (3g) that the flight computer will not allow under any conditions and ALL jetliners since 1995 have controls that can be taken over from the ground. This is why there have been no hijackings since 1993.

I believe nothing from the media.

Like Stalin said
Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.

The same applies to all elections.

By leadership change, I think he's reffering to the fascist idiot in the white house.

EXCELLENT POINT CHRIS!!! I truly do not believe terrorists caused 9/11, BU$H wanted to invade the middle east, stareotyped for islamic fundamental terrorists, for OIL!!!

Each tower exploded in a smooth wave -- not discrete explosions, but a continuous wave of explosive destruction that moved down the tower.

The above was copied from the below site. It is very comprehensive and the physics math is there too.

http://911research.wtc7.net/talks/towers/e.../expulsion.html (http://911research.wtc7.net/talks/towers/expulsion.html)

What we saw was planes hitting the towers and that is all we saw. That event was used to explain the tower collapse. It does NOT explain the collapse.

If you think it does explain the collapse, then you are thinking just like the renegade elements of government want you to.

I cant belive shti like this isnt shown on the tele....wait....yes I can. I wonder if the Cubans know anythnig about it? They cant do anything obiously, and neither can Castro, for reasons that the US will find that as an excuse to invade Cuba.

You're thinking is good. Media is our only meaningful focus. Officials are terrified and agencies blocked or complicit.

I use the obscure terms below because I know how searching the web by the elements that created it could TOTALLY track discussion like this, I hope those reading know what I refer to. It's not from fear, it is from experience. Strange disruptions that foul our meager persistence to discuss on deeper levels our situation have occurred.

I seriously believe the old boys secret society has been infiltrated. That would be the new global organized thingie we mysteriously hear so much about but really know nothing of. The thingie has taken over and the old boys are shitting because they are disabled from consciously dealing with it. This makes it our job. Us the people.

http://truthasur.com

What is happening is a spiritual event on the larger scale. Our instinctual ability to understand and use love to make sacrifices that protect future generations is being tested. We fail, we, our descendants become slaves. We succeed and we develop methods for the people to control their behaviors that end the trend of over population, pollution and resource depletion. Needless to say that at that point we completely control government, it becomes our servant completely as it was intended and to a degree manifested here in the US. After the civil war.

If the last sentence above sounds like a fantasy, super idealistic then you're suffering from successful programming of your unconscious mind. You have given up HOPE. That is why media must be our focus. This is more common than can be expressed and is really the bigger problem. That problem only becomes evident when one goes out and tries to communicate common reasons for unifying in some action comprehensive and meaningful to our higher purposes in the face of global diplomatic disaster enabled by grand deception.

Have hope that many will read between the lines here and ......think about love, then live.

As for Cuba, Castro is Catholic I believe. Meaning he might talk about the good old boys and the new thingie or what they are doing/not doing, but has no clue as to how they've done any of it.
