I want to move. Where i live is so boring. I want to go to grad school.

Should i go to grad school in washington or oregon? seem to be hip places to go. Has anyone here visited the northwest or live there? Whats the cultural, academic, social scene?

The Puget Sound area would probably be ideal for an academic/social scene. There isn't much culture up here, its pretty much as white as it gets. I am from Portland, nice city, but don't move here. Southern Oregon sucks.

University of Washington seems pretty legit. I would consider doing graduate work there
