....and it's pretty shit: (http://www.eirigi.org/latest/latest211112.html#eng)
éirígí is calling for legal, free and safe abortion services to be made available across Ireland in the following circumstances:
Where a woman has become pregnant as a result of rape
Where there is a serious risk of suicide should the pregnancy continue
Where the foetus is suffering from severe abnormalities that are incompatible with life
Where the foetus is suffering from severe abnormalities that will prevent the child from enjoying even the most basic quality of life after birth
Where there is a serious risk to the physical health of the mother
Where there is a serious risk to the mental health of the mother

Considering that Ireland is about as progressive as Afghanistan, I'd say that it's pretty good.
And I don't you where you are from but I'm a Yankee, and if a party had that stance in this country they'd be call commies so much that they're ear drums would burst out of their heads and run for the hills

The IRSP and People's Democracy adopted more progressive positions in the 1970s. This is just embarrassing for a socialist party in 2012.

If you're going to state something as fact, know what you're talking about. Comparing Ireland to Afghanistan is absurd.

Even in the US, this position is a fairly conservative one. Of course, we have a vocal right-wing here who thinks centrists are socialists, but still.

That's absolute nonsense. The x case passed in a popular referendum remember? Or probably you don't know what I am talking about at all.
You ain't done nothing if you ain't been called a red.

I'm going to assume you misspoke because it would take a real fool to post something that idiotic and chauvinist here.

I wasn't aware that the role of socialists and revolutionaries (which I would guess éirígí would claimed to be) is to echo conservative opinion.

This is a verbal warning for posting a pointless and apparently anti-Irish one-liner.
