Comrades, I have made a major discovery today.

In a dusty, forgotten corner of the Soviet Archives, I stumbled across a neglected binder. With a slight degree of apprehension, I opened the binder, and what I found inside was beautiful.

It was the theory of Socialism in not one, not two, but THREE countries.

This unknown text was written by known other than the glorious Comrade Stalin himself! Comrades, I believe the implications of this are enormous. This changes everything we have ever known about the theory of Marxism-Leninism. For decades, the formerly glorious Theory of Socialism in One Country has been lampooned by liberals and counter-revolutionaries, but Socialism in Three Countries? This alone can solve the crisis of theory and bring about the merger of Marxism and the workers' movement.

Comrade Stalin informs us in this text that Socialism in One Country is, in fact, impossible. However, he also notes with optimism that the construction of socialism was not being attempted in one country, but three. Had the construction of socialism been attempted in the USSR alone, Comrade Stalin informs us, it would have been a miserable disaster, or in his words, a "tragicomic" one. Thankfully, the construction of socialism was being attempted in not just the USSR, but in the Tuvan People's Republic and the People's Republic of Mongolia as well. Too often, these glorious workers' states have been forgotten by contemporary revolutionaries.

Stalin continued to expound on the results of the successful implementation of the theory of Socialism in Three Countries. We are informed that the this theory was so successful that classless society had, in fact, actually been achieved by the end of 1929. One might wonder how such a momentous achievement has been hitherto unnoticed, and Comrade Stalin did not leave us wanting for an explanation.

Seeing the successful results of the theory of Socialism in Three Countries, the global bourgeoisie endeavored to the massive undertaking of suppressing the news of the achievement of classless society in the former USSR, Tuvan People's Republic, and People's Republic of Mongolia. In this, the bourgeoisie succeeded. They actually managed to destroy every trace of physical evidence that classless society had been achieved, thankfully we have Stalin's word for it.

It is important to note that, in the opinion of Comrade Stalin, the theory of Socialism in Three Countries is not actually a new innovation, but a continuation of the legacy of Lenin. Discerning ultra-leftists might comment that no where in Lenin's published works did he ever endorse a view of the construction of Socialism in One Country, let alone three; however, Comrade Stalin informs us that Lenin did, in fact, explicitly endorse the theory of Socialism in Three Countries. There remain several unpublished works of Lenin that outline the theory of Socialism in Three Countries. which, according to Stalin, must remain in the Archive to safeguard them against counter-revolutionaries and revisionists.

We all know how this story ends. Sadly. It is no mystery to us that revisionism spontaneously occurred in the former USSR on March 5, 1953; and that the stateless society became a revisionist one.

I have begun a correspondence with famed independent historian Lars Lih to inquire into the possibility of a sequel to his acclaimed book, Lenin Rediscovered. The title of this hypothetical sequel would be, naturally, Stalin Rediscovered. He has little doubt that this recently uncovered work will change the face of contemporary Marxism forever and usher in a new period of global revolution.

In addition to this monumental discovery, the binder contained a series of letters between famed Soviet exile Leon Trotsky and dissidents from the CPUSA. Unfortunately, he had much less to say. The text is as follows:

"The entire edifice of the theory of Socialism in Three Countries at the present time is built on lies and falsification and bears within itself the poisonous elements of its own decay"

"P.S. Fuck Stalin and the theory of Socialism in Three Countries."

-Leon Trotsky; March, 1930.

I hope to finish scanning this voluminous text in the coming days so it can be distributed amongst revolutionaries worldwide. It may well take a lifetime of study to comprehend the sublime intellectual foundation behind the theory of Socialism in Three Countries.

The night grows late, so I wish to end it by proposing a toast to the successful proliferation of international proletarian revolution, Comrade Stalin, and the victorious theory of Socialism in Three Countries.

Working men of three countries, unite!

Workers have no countries. Not one. Not three, nor even three million. Zero is the answer.

Yes, have revolutions in no countries!

Surely this is the path towards the victory of socialism!

If socialism in no country is the correct doctrine then we're already well on our well to victory!

...huh!?...

Better to have socialism in no countries or to have no socialism in all countries?

Socialism will only succeed as a universal (worldwide) phenomenon. After 1945, the Soviet Union tried to build socialism in by my count nine countries, and failed because the number of countries is irrelevant. Socialism is not a political system to be built on a country-by-country basis. The capitalist mode of production has to be superseded universally.

"The working men have no country. They have 3!"
- Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, "Das Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei"

"Communism is Soviet government plus the electrification of 3 countries"
- Vladimir Lenin, "New External and Internal Position and the Problems of the Party"

First of all, no one is arguing that communism can be build in one country because that would be absurd. But why can't the working class seize political power in one country? Logically speaking, even if this isn't communism, what is preventing the working class from holding poltical power? If historical classes have managed to exist within self-contained systems then I don't see why modern classes can't (Yes I know capitalism requires constant expansionism in order to survive but that isn't the point.

That's a pretty narrow view of socialism. We can't institute a new mode of production while the world is still bound by the chains of capital. It won't work for the same reasons that capitalism won't work that way.

Yes the socialism won't be perfect at first, that is why a transitionary period is needed.

Yes we can not establish socialism while under the bounds of capital ? But how are we to break these bounds? The dictatorship of the proletariat is the best answer provided that we accept the thesis that class struggle continues under socialism and reject the stalinist (excuse me for using the term, but he did conceptualized class struggle under socialism so it's appropriate) application of that theory and instead argue that the class struggle will come from bellow once state power has empowered the working class with a socialist conscience.

I actually wrote this back in February and posted it to my revleft blog, but when bringing it up to Ostrinski the other day he recommended I post on the main board. I wrote this when I was incredibly drunk, hence some of the grammatical errors. I was thinking of writing similar essays about such voluminous subjects as Trotskyism-First-Worldism: The Spectre of Inverted Pabloism, Anti Anti-Revisionism: Brezhnevism in the 21st Century, and the theory of Juche in one suburb; unfortunately I never got around to it.

You should have saved it for April Fool's Day next year.
