This time of year we've often sent warm clothing, toys or money to Pine Ridge. The winters are pretty rough there. I have no idea if Leonard is actually innocent; but I'm convinced that his trials did not justify conviction.

The time has come to free Leonard Peltier. Kathy Boudin was guilty as home-brewed sin, but she is free despite a murder conviction. The major difference is that Ms. Boudin is a white radical from a privileged bourgeois background while Leonard Peltier is a person of color.
