do you think with words, images, smell or taste?

does your way of thinking affect your outlook and personality?

i myself, i am thinking with sensations. my skin and nervous system has a memory of sensations, both painful and pleasurable. i don't make any differences between them. and i use them as associations to support my thinking. i think i think with other stuff as well, as images, or words, but all are filtered through sensations.

Word vision.

Nietszche has a good passage asking why there is no philosophy of smell, but so much on vision.

It is worth considering proprioception and interioception -- our sense of being in the world and our bodily humours.

" The forming of the five senses is a labour of the entire history of the world down to the present." Karl Marx 1844 Manuscripts

do you think your thinking makes you reach different conclusions from people who're using words?

Images and internal speech mostly.
