I'm relatively new to this site so bear with me if this is a common topic.
How do we as revolutionaries begin set in motion the destruction of capitalism?
What can we do as individuals,or how can we organize to succeed?
How do we combat bourgeois propaganda?
What can we do to educate fellow proletariat?
How do we combat sectarianism of the left and unite under one goal: the destruction of capitalism and the emancipation of the proletariat?
I live in Texas, and the situation here is unbelievably dire. It isn't uncommon to have people bark "HURR HURR NAZIS ARE SOCIALISTS." or "READ SOME HISTORY! THE PURGES!" or my favorite "COMMUNISM IS DEAD, IT FAILED!".
So, I guess I'm just asking for some hope. I've heard the "revolution that will liberate the world from the chains of the capitalists will eventually happen" thing countless times. But I would like know it will, I would like to act. I would like to be a part, even a small part. I don't expect to see it end. But I hope I get to see the seeds that begin it. What can we do?
also, can I call you guys "comrades" or is that a little too corny. Like I said, I'm new here

1. Democratically aim for political power.
2. Join a party aiming for political power.
3. Create alternative propaganda.
4. Educate yourself by reading and educate others by speaking and writing.
5. Help the working-class self-emancipate with a democratic majority socialist consciousness not be emancipated by any party irrespective of consciousness.
6. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
7. I find comrades too corny, but it is commonly used in the modern revolutionary left.
8. Welcome, stick around "comrade".

Retool your language for the crowd your speaking to. If you know the 'C' word has the ability to shut down dialogue then don't say it. Speak the truth but be wary of your vocab.
I find the word comrade to be endearing. It's a unifying word that implies a shared struggle.

crust punk is pretty cool as a music genre but as a political ideology all it does is benefit the malt liquor industry

The first step is to fight poverty, hunger, and bigotry in your community. If more socialist organizations did this instead of hang out on college campuses there would be a lot more socialists in the US.

How do socialists fight against hunger and poverty in a (locally based) community?
Obviously, by raising cash used to either buy the products needed and then donate them in a certain way, or by directly donating cash. But why would that amount to ever increasing number of people advocating a revolutionary transformation of society? In other words, how would community organizing planned and exercised in this way lead to a growing militancy against the wage system itself and not exhaust itself as an alternative relief institution?

In order to educate others, you must educate yourself - read the study guides and explore the literature of the far left with personal enthusiasm as opposed to because someone told you to.

Comrade jbeard has clearly stated something very important here when attempting to communicate ideas, especially far left ideas.
At the end of the day, I believe you can build a mentality that opposes the various indoctrination methods of the bourgeoisie simply by learning, clearly you have already progressed by posting here.

That's really important. I would say that a important way to start a transformation on society is reaching the community and speaking with the people. Those conversation, I must say, could not be completely directioned by ourselves, revolutionaries, but, yes, by themselves, community. We need to, first, listen what they need, what they want, what they think about the world. After that, we must try to show up our ideas to them; show how the capitalist siystem work by their own experiences of life, what will make this work of showing our ideas much more effective. The socialism, so, need to be made not only on the bourgouise democracy, but also at our spreading to our population on what we call "grassroots", something based not on academic or intellectuals debates, but, yes, on an alliance of the revolutionary vanguard with the people. It can be made by parties, groups, organizations, etc. Everything that can be used to elevate the socialist thinking must be used, I think. If we are talking about poverty, we need to show people how its something structural to capitalist system. On that way, I think, we can, at least, start something.
