View Full Version : Nazi/KKK rally in Charlotte

Stand Your Ground
11th November 2012, 15:55
As many as 250 counter-protesters flocked to Uptown Charlotte today to demonstrate against a neo-Nazi and Ku Klux Klan rally meant to protest undocumented immigration. Organizers of the counter-protest say they wanted to take a stand against hate.
The rally was planned by the Detroit, Mich.-based National Socialist Movement. The Southern Poverty Law Center has long tracked the group, which it says is the largest neo-Nazi organization in the country.

These Nazis look like they really need to get laid. And of course, the police WOULD be escorting neo-Nazis.

Lack of sexual interaction has nothing to do with radical hate groups and saying contrary in such a manner seems to diminish the seriousness of organizing counter-demonstrations against these people.

I am not sure of the law but in most cases like these the police offer their protection to keep the peace. When I was demonstrating for Transgender equality in Washington DC earlier this year as part of the Campaign to End AIDS youth caucus there were about half-a-dozen pigs there to ward off crazy bigots.Seems to be the expected role.

(But what did you expect, that the capitalist police would allow their reactionary back-up to get pummeled? lol)

When I was protesting in DC? Nope.

Did they allow your demonstration to get pummeled?

Probably not, but they do mace peaceful demonstrators and arrest people for speaking out against the rich.

Did they ever allow these bigots to break up some demonstration recently?
I mean I know the cops did that in the past, I just don't know if they still let Nazis beat up people.

I was being sarcastic, but I agree with you.

Considering the number of African Americans in Charlotte, they better be uptown and not downtown. :D

They actually get very heated. The last one I was at me and my Antifa buddies tried to rush the police line but utterly failed:laugh: it was fun anyway. "Bash the Fash" amirite?

Freedom of assembly. Me and Chomksers say its ok. We just won't go for a beer with them afterwards.

In all seriousness though I support these peoples right to march despite how disgusting their beliefs are over a state that opresses me having the right to stop them marching.

If you only believe in freedom os speech for "the right views" your realy not into freedom at all.

I know right! You just get this feeling of power in supporting a cause you love so much! It really is a great feeling and a good workout
