I have a book called "Selected works of Marx and Engels" but it's in Serbian. Maybe find a similar book in English and force him to read it. As it is several works in one book. To make sure he actually read it, you should quiz him on the subject.
It would be awesome if he turned into a communist.

I doubt that will happen. I'm just looking for something that will offend his deep-seated sensibilities. But not offend in a 'shocking' way like most insurrecto stuff would. Something that'll offend him because it's well-written and completely counter to everything he believes from an angle he's never considered.

Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution by Peter Kropotkin: http://dwardmac.pitzer.edu/Anarchist_Archives/kropotkin/mutaidcontents.html
I recommend this book often cause it really does a good job at dispelling the myth of humanity engaged in a selfish struggle between individuals, by pointing out the role that mutual aid has played both in history and modern times (modern times from a 1902 perspective anyway ;)). The book doesn't argue for socialism directly, but it does take away many of the arguments against it.

Don't give him a book you haven't read yourself.
Obtain and read "Forms of Explanation" by Alan Garfinkel. It's basically about taking a bird's eye view of things and seeing structural reasons behind what happens to individuals.

Every single word of every single volume of Capital.
Nah, maybe Principles of Communism or something, just so he can start to think about getting his head out of his ass.

It's not a good pamphlet to convince someone. Better for explaining what we stand for.

Daft Punk's posts, pure torture.
Or Rosa Lichtenstein's whining about dialectics.

Yeah I'm looking for something more "convincing".

I'd say something modern and concise would be best, and something that's actually relevant to today, not just an old Marx/Engels/etc text explaining the basics of communism
Having said that I know no books that fit that criteria

Good suggestion. Though OP should also think about whether this Tea Partyer is capable of reading something like that or whether it will capture their attention. Otherwise it's a waste.

"Why Marx was Right" Terry Eagleton
Sure it isn't the best analysis of Marxism, however it dispels many myths and anticommunist stances in a simple to read way. Simplicity sure is necessary for the tea party crowd.

If he's a tea-bagger he'll probably consider himself an 'individualist', let him think again:

Maybe throw in some of the Bonanno, Stirner, Baginski and Landstreicher stuff too.

Dude's a reader. This might work actually.
I'm considering The Enigma of Capital, the thin about 5000 years of debt, and Why Marx Was Right.
I think I'm leaning towards The Enigma of Capital tho.

I can't believe no one has suggested the communist manifesto. I know it's kind of obvious but it really opened my eyes.

It's eye opening for someone who is willing to open their eyes to it, not for someone who's a conscious Tea Partyer. It's not something which disproves or at least raises doubts about the feasibility of capitalism.
