Yes, this isn't just a prelude to war, but an act of war itself. And, as always, it is the people who feel the pain and the states who profit. The sanctions are purportedly aimed at the Iranian government, but the latter is simply sustaining itself by dipping into the Iranian people's wealth through inflationary money printing. The resulting poverty leads them into the arms of the state, since it is the Americans who are blamed for this and not the Iranian government. But this is just the beginning, as Israel and the states of NATO see a Great War as a fitting distraction from their domestic problems...
