“Career day" at Tularosa New Mexico Intermediate School went terribly wrong after a 10-year-old boy says a police officer used his Taser gun to show him what cops do to people who don’t follow orders.

Officer Chris Webb of the New Mexico Department of Public Safety is being sued in court after allegedly using his Taser-brand stun gun on a school playground to send 50,000 volts of electricity into a young boy’s body, forcing the child to blackout.

According to the complaint filed on behalf of the child, "Defendant Webb asked the boy, R.D., in a group of boys, who would like to clean his patrol unit,” when the officer came to the school earlier this year. "A number of boys said that they would. R.D., joking, said that he did not want to clean the patrol unit.”

Defendant Webb, the complaint suggests, responded by pointing his Taser at R.D. and saying, 'Let me show you what happens to people who do not listen to the police.'" The officer then allegedly fired two barbs from the device at the child’s chest, penetrating his shirt.

Na, from what my best friend Jimmy Enforcee told me it was just a game of catch that got out of control. The kid was bragging all week that he could "catch" a taser, or laser I forget. I guess what he meant was "never get in the way of". Jimmy's little sisters friend from 3rd period said she heard Billy Tamelton tell Cindy Breese.

The kid must've acted in a threatening manner towards the officer. The officer must've feared for his life. That can really be the only explanation.

When I first read the title of this thread I thought: "wow, a 10 year old kid has a car!"

Obviously this was justified action by the police officer - the kid was occupying the "A" square in Four-square to the point where it was becoming a public health issue that needed to be adressed. When will these kids learn not to treat our public playgrounds as some kind of ground on which common play happens?

At least he learned early. I'm not saying that made it worth it or anything, but at least some kid got to see through all the bullshit. I wouldn't be surprised if the kids who witnessed this learned something about cops too.

They do not have safety features like guns, just look at the Oscar Grant case. I don't think it's a matter of accident or not. Even if it was an accident, the cop is obviously too fucked up, immature, and hateful to be given any sort of weapon. If people are to make the case that "cops are trained well and meant for the protection of all" this case obviously shows that little to no training is done during police academy to show cops how to be safe. Maybe this will help some liberals wake up and stop shouting "Thank You" to cops at rallies. ACAB.

I heard the kid pulled his .44 Desert Eagle and threathened the cop to "cap his ass".
At first the cop wasn't really scared or anything, only when the entire playground reached for their guns and knives he got a bit scared.
Then the whole village started shouting that they wouldn't clean his car.
