I'll define micro-world. This is your family life, school life, work life etc.

It does NOT involve world issues or things like that. That is your macro world

doesn't even make sense

It would be much better if I were a fatcat billionaire.

I wish I could motivate myself to lose weight, to put more effort into my schoolwork, read more, be more social.

I think those are the main things.

Find a partner that fits my needs. Lots of other minor things but I think this is the only thing that I am actually wanting and not just something that would be "so so".

As a lot of us are talking about food and other such consumables, perhaps the question should have been 'what do you want to change about your microwave?' *punalicious*

Pretty sure TGU and I are the only ones who took this thread seriously.

I kind of was, too. I quite like pie. As long as there's food in my belly I'll be able to sort the rest out. Make the most of whatever there is or however you want to communicate that idea...

Don’t buy yourself Sunday clothes and don’t be ashamed to sleep on planks at home, and to walk along posh roads without trousers, laughing; it furthers the revolution more than singing The Internationale or studying the conjuring tricks which the popes of Berlin and Moscow have for sale.

Marry me?

Considering a Revleft proposal is the most romantic proposal par excellence I'm inclined to acquiesce to your request, so yes!

I seem to have far too many things to contribute to this thread.

First and foremost being more social and generally better with people would be fantastic. I really just wish I could connect with people my age and not constantly feel like an outsider. Being fairly poor probably isent the best thing either- I live in a small town and never go hungry and for that I couldn't be happier but other than wasting time on the Internet or working my ass off with school I don't have much going on in life at any given moment. I guess if there is one thing I would improve about myself it would be to not be such a downer- I am slowly beginning to fear I may be suffering from some form of depression and if I don't sort it out may be seeking some some help soon. I also have horrible trust issues and eat way too much unhealthy crap to deal with my problems as well as constantly stressing out about my family's financial woes.

Well, that felt good.

I feel the same way on much of the stuff you just said. Except I'm not really depressed, I just stopped giving a fuck.

Yep, food and love are my main things too. I would also like to get a job or go to college but I feel like the latter might overwhelm me.

I want to get over this slump I am in. I want to be done with my damn medication and treatment so I can get back in the ring and start knocking some heads off again. :D

Also, I need to finish writing this paper that I haven't even started. Although, I have opened up Microsoft Word (Pirated version of course. Anyone who pays for Microsoft Office is a bourgeois class enemy!):thumbup1:

-Stop going to church
-Move the fuck out, maybe to Amsterdam, Quebec, Boston, or Pittsburgh
-Get a job
-Maybe have somebody love me
-Get some pets. Definitely some dogs and rats, maybe some cats too.
-Magically rid myself of depression and anxiety.
-Fully transition from female to male (or better yet, magically have been born a cisgender male in the first place.)

I want to be the very best, like no one ever was.

No, seriously, I do. I used to be obese and helpless. Now I'm just a hair overweight. I run every day, and now I'm getting into cycling and weight-lifting. I want to learn to swim, garden, be a handyman, hunt, canoe, administer first aid, survive, thrive.

I can't control what happens to me or what goes on in the world: the only thing I can control is my response to it, and I intend to be ready to take whatever life throws at me.

I feel as though the division you suggest is pretty artificial. At the very least, a great deal of the changes one might want to make in their "microlife" would require some change in their "macrolife" and vice versa. So, sure, I'd love it if my partner and I had a cabin in the woods, some chickens, a goat, and some nice rifles, but in order for that to become a reality we'd probably either need to a) come to some serious daggers drawn with our existing realities, or b) sell out real hard.

You dig?

Oh, I also need to get a job.

I have been looking for some kind of training. I thought that you could just go to a factory and ask to do an associate training, but they now only take already qualified people. With 20% youth unemployment and more coming, i don't see the situation getting better for me.

I hate the fact that I have to swaddle myself in a duvet and wear two jackets in order to prevent my hands freezing up when sitting at the computer.

How's that for "micro"?
