READ THE WHOLE POST! IT'S IMPORTANT!
Ahoy comrades,
Just wanted to make this clear to all of you since I often get asked about this.
When you first sign up, your posts might not show up immediately. Don't worry though - there's a reason for it. You're not experiencing a bug, you haven't been restricted, you haven't been punished, nothing has gone wrong.
Basically to ward off spammers & trolls we have a 10-post approval period where your first ten posts need to be approved by a moderator. What this means is that for your first ten posts here at Revleft, each of those ten posts will need to be personally approved by one of the moderators. Usually this happens quickly and speedily, and I personally make sure to do them as quickly as possible.
By and large this has been a great tool for getting rid of spammers and banning them quickly, not to mention trolls. Generally it won't affect you.
If, however, there has been a delay of some hours before your posts show up - it usually means there aren't any mods online to deal with the queue. This doesn't happen that often but occasionally it will. So don't worry.
If it's been a longer period of time, a day or more, and one of your posts simply never shows up at all - it could mean you broke a rule and your post wasn't approved. I find it's pretty rare this happens, as most new users generally make good posts.
So don't worry - nothing has gone wrong if it sometimes takes a while for your posts to show up. If you DO feel something HAS actually gone wrong though, do feel free to send me a private message and I'm happy to hear your concerns and do everything in my power to resolve your problem.
