and tired of conservatives thinking that they are victims. I wish they would all go up in a gigantic blaze.

Yeah, persecution complexes are pretty big in conservative circles.

People who think they're losing their constitutional and religious liberties or whatever bullshit. Worst manifestation of human filth.

I hate how conservatives piss and moan about the "mainstream media".
I even saw this on Fox News, w/ some news panel that was discussing how the "mainstream media" were so unobjective in their coverage. I'm like, excuse me? You guys are part of a huge multinational corporation! You are the mainstream media!

Conservative phobia of the media is nothing new, goes back to the Nixon years. I think it's pretty disingenuous because not only is there not some liberal conspiracy to control the media outlets, it's a way for these people to cop out of taking any personal responsibility at all.

Wow, I can't believe I just watched that whole ad.
Are there seriously kids out there who are that enthusiastic about the Constitution? Holy christ!
The commercial got pretty weird at the end. "End the assault on religious freedom"? The assault on religious freedom? I almost lost it when that one kid mentioned the USA government "arming Mexican drug lords". Oh, to be a conservative freedom fighter in this grim socially-engineered tyranny...

I mainly used it because it's a phrase that they like to throw around a lot at who they consider parasitic elements of society, who they consider to be self-victimizers, as Mitt Romney put it, and who feel entitled blah blah blah.
When in reality I feel like they exhibit many of the same attitudes that they attribute to everyone else within their own political discourse. Nothing is ever their fault, you see. If politically they are in a bad place, it's because liberals have somehow masterminded all the major media outlets, academic positions, etc.
This leads to the conclusion that they must be freedom fighters, duking it out with the corrupt and tyrannical socialist hell that this great country has descended into. Zealously will they struggle to defend all of those political rights and freedoms that the anti-American goon squad of the liberal elite have wiped their asses with! It's like, if society doesn't seem to replicate their intensely romanticized and idealized zion of a conservative utopia, somehow their traditional freedoms are being infringed upon.
And it seems that the farther this draconian and anachronistic shithole of a society slips away from them into the abyss of history's dustbin, the more indignant they get.
Man I can't decide whether I distaste liberals or conservatives more.

This annoys the shit out of me, particularly those of the religious variety complaining about how people will hate them and oppress them and they'll be isolated for being a Christian, when they're actually the majority.

Wow, I can't believe I just watched that whole ad.
Are there seriously kids out there who are that enthusiastic about the Constitution? Not many as much as those from that video, nor in that similar framework (most kids are liberals/left or, I imagine usually dorks, libertarians). The video is just false propaganda of the "think of our children" vein.
But there's a sort of reverence for the constitution, from the right to the mainstream left (including liberal activists and even progressives) where it is seen unthinkable of saying "replace it" or etc. All the while many other countries have had different constitutions.

This just in, Fox News starts indie band with Rush Limbaugh on drums, Anne Coulter on guitar, Sean Hannity on vocals, and Bill O'Reilly on bass. They do folk covers of Skrewdriver songs.

I couldn't even watch that ad. I love how everything they do comes off as stupidly overdramatic and serious. Has anyone ever seen the "a storm is gathering" anti-gay ad?

I like how conservatives portray themselves both as the victims and the solution all at once.

Conservatives are victims, they are victims of mass-scale ridicule by the competent organs of bourgeois-ideologues (in the U.S., this could be translated as 'progressive liberals', democrats, etc.), and rightfully so. They must be such an embaressment.
