First, does anybody here know how to set up a TV or Radio Station?
Second, how much would it cost (globally, locally, etc.)?
Third, as it's going to be Socialist, will that make it harder and if so how?
It's very hard to find anything of value about it on the internet. The Capitalists don't want any competition, I suppose.
Yes, there's all kinds of free stuff on the internet, but I don't think that targets the majority of people. I'm sure some people here have already thought about it and may have already put it in practice. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I live in the Netherlands, but I don't think that matters so much.
P.P.S. I know that it will be very, very difficult, but that doesn't keep me from researching and considering it.

a. Check out local community stations. I've basically called for the overthrow of the state and mass graves for police on live radio, and it was all fine as long as I followed CanCon regulations and played a few Richard Laviolette songs.
b. Setting up a short-range breifcase sized transmitter than can block out other frequencies is a thing I've heard is neither too difficult nor expensive - the issue then is that it's more useful as a tactical intervention in a specific situation than as a long-term project.
c. Have you seen Wu Ming's film about Radio Alice?

I think the easiest and most far reaching way of setting up a tv/radio station, is to start one on the the internet. The technology is mostly free and open source. The only real issue you bump your head on is having a good traffic rate, as high bandwidth is rather expensive (although prices have been dropping consistently over the last decade).

As you live in the Netherlands, you might be interested in a group on Facebook that wants to set up a Socialist TV-station, they say that it will be for all kinds of left-wing so it probably will have a lot of SP influence but you might find it interesting.
They go by the name “Socialistische Omroep” on FaceBook.
