Nasim Sultan Beigi, a leftist Iranian student activist was imprisoned in Iran this week. she has to spend 6 years in prison because of "act against national security" and "agitating against the government". she was arrested before in 2006 and spent 2 months in prison without being able to contact her family. she was mentally and physically tortured. in cases like this, secret police storms political activists houses at midnight and seizes their belongings like books, computer, writings, family albums and ... in order to identify people who are close to them.
