Yeah, I guess I'm something of what some people may refer to as introverted. Hell, some people even call me anti-social. But I'm not. Society is anti-me.

In case I come across as judgmental, please understand I'm not trying to be.

Everyone should remember it is possible to be anywhere along the scale. From Strongly Introverted, to Strongly Extroverted, and anywhere in between (Ambivert is the middle ground)


And yes, Western society and culture does seem to discount us. I feel that leftists should take a more equal stance to the issue. Idolise introversion a bit.

I'm not generally an introvert, I am loud and outgoing. I make scenes and I make my presence known. I can be introverted at times though. I may stay in the house and not go out anywhere other than the gym for weeks at a time. In general though I enjoy the company of others.

Very introverted, hate making a scene / being noticed in public, always try to be invisible. I guess I am kind of anti-social, I've just grown accustomed to enjoying my own company (with the aid of an ever present set of headphones). Tried being social and it never worked out, I thought, so I keep myself to myself most of the time.

Yeah, I guess I'm introverted. I'm often unsure of how to interact with many people who I've just met. I've never been able to understand how some people can walk into any situation and seemingly immediately command the room...

But I don't think I'm particularly introverted once I've "gotten a read" on someone after hanging out with them for a while.

I suppose it can be considered so, but keep in mind, there is a site called "Introvert Zone". A number of Introverts seem to find it a place where they are not oppressed by Extroverts.

On that point, I think it would be worth while seeking out introverts on a large scale. I mean, we may need support from others who know how we feel. perhaps even tell the extroverts to suck it and leave us alone.

On a serious note, I meant that we should resist extroversion on a personal level. Teach them to respect us, and not treat us like we have some sort of problem.

I'm pretty ambiverted, can be sociable and outgoing but don't like too much of it and I'm not the sort of person who just strolls into any social situation really comfortbaly, I can be pretty awkward and I value my alone time

Introverted, but not socially inept. You see, I can chat with people and carry on a fairly lengthy conversation with strangers, I would just rather not be doing that, and I feel tired after it's all said and done.

I try to keep a positive attitude but most of the time I'm a misanthropic douche that everyone hates.

I know it's chit chat where ppl talk nonsense, but here is a serious question. How do you put up with people who treat you in a weird way just because you're alone most of the time? Do they speak behind your back (that you're weird cuz you're a loner)?

I dunno if I'm an introvert. I prefer small social settings where I can make meaningful connections to bigass parties. I'm loud as fuck and completely unafraid when I'm comfortable in a situation.

Introverted is far too mild a term for me. A lot of the time, I'm just plain scared of people.
