I'm not sure if there is an english title for this book, I just translated it from Marx para principiantes by RIUS, which is one of my favourite authors. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have read this book and what do you think of it? Have you read any more books by RIUS?

EDIT: OK, there IS an english version which you can find here <<< (http://www.worldhistoryhub.com/Marx_for_Beginners_Philosophy_Economic_Doctrine_Hi storical_Materialism_0679725121.html).

I saw that at a book store the other day. It's pretty nice. Lately, I have been using the New Union Party's Marxist Study Course (http://www1.minn.net/~nup/chlist.htm).

I have not read this, but I might just suck it up and use all the Christmas money I have and buy all the volumes of Das Kapitol.Though I am debating whether to buy Enver Hoxha's "Imperialism and The Revolution" instead as this is a very hard to find book.

I did read Marx For Beginners, and I thought it was great. I have also read half of Lenin For Beginners, and it is also great. All of the books in that series do a great job of summarizing very complicated philosophies. I recently bought Chomsky For Beginners, but I have not yet read it. I have looked at several others in the series, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Awesome! This books are great, I adore RIUS. The Lenin, Marx and Mao ones are great! Also check The Perestroika and the one I'm not sure there is an english version of is La turkulenta historia del kapitalismo.

Hey Comrade Ceausescu why waste the money when you can read Hoxha's work here for free: http://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/...imp_rev/toc.htm (http://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/hoxha/works/imp_rev/toc.htm)
You can also find all the volumes of Das Kapital on the same site for free; save the money you'd spend on those books and use it too fund a local revolutionary organisation etc.

I've read the book and I found it very enjoyable. I think the whole series manages to explain some complicated areas in a very entertaining and helpful manner. My favourites are the ones on Marx, Nietzsche, Political Philosophy, Sartre and Kierkegaard.
