This is one of the most intriguing documentaries I've ever seen. If you're into animals and their social organization, then check this out. This Gorilla became the dominant Silverback of a troop with record numbers for a very long time, and eventually passed on his genes to a record number of offspring. His life story had been documented since he was a baby, and his tumultuous upbringing makes his later dominance even more curious, ruling for something like 17 years unchallenged despite various other males in the large troop, an with an unusually level-headed method of rule. This shit plays out like a human drama, shocked the observers were able to capture so many key shifts in power and events on-screen. Enjoy.
