I'm getting reports from people that the miners have put barricades up once again in Asturias.

This is coming from comrades in Spain who only have Spanish links up.

Although there are pictures.

Even though I studied Spanish in school, I don't know nearly enough to effectively get a picture of what is happening.

Anyone have any English sources?

EDIT:
I know that it is the 78th anniversary of the Asturian October revolution.

Here's an approximate translation of the Spanish dispatch:

"We are getting information that barricades are being raised in Pola de Lena (Asturias) that are blocking Expressway A-66 in both directions; the secondary highways of La Pola are also being blocked. It appears to be a group of the unemployed and workers fed up with the situation raising the barricades and making a call to the struggle and to confront the attacks of Capital. The participants in the protest displayed a placard against the cuts, that collected [?], among other slogans, “Neither unemployment, nor poverty, nor swindles for the people.” The presence of several groups with rocket launchers [?] is also reported. And all this on the anniversary of the 1934 Revolution."

Direct action with potential for meaningful results, just what I like to see.
What are the unions saying about this? What about Spain's social democratic party?
