Student movements in Quebec and Mexico are leading the way! Join us to learn from the experience of international student leaders and discuss how to advance the struggle for public education and social justice around the world.

[Speakers]

- CLASSE: Coalition large de l'Association pour une solidarite syndicale etudiante
From Montreal, Quebec, Alain Savard will speak on the lessons of the largest student strike in history.

- #YoSoy132
From Mexico City, a speaker will discuss the lessons of the student movement for democratic change in Mexico.

- A participant in the victorious Spring 2010 student strike at the University of Puerto Rico.

- A speaker from the University of Chile Student Foundation, which has been leading a massive social movement for public education and against privatization.

Where: City College of San Francisco, Ocean Campus Student Union, City Cafe. September 29th, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Free food will be provided.

$5-20 suggested donation - no one turned away for lack of funds.
