Of course, Iran's government is an abomination, but I have a small acquaintance with and deep fondness for the Persian people. I also know that the major problem in this area of the world is Western and Israeli imperialism.

It is ludicrous, of course, to believe that Iran would use that nuclear weapon it seems to be developing to attack Israel. That would be national suicide. But then, as Saddam Hussein and Khadafy found out, the lack of a nuclear weapon also results in a form of national suicide.

I always felt is Iran a lost cause ever since felt under Islam. The Islamic thought in Iran is too deeply trenched to my annoyance.
