Hello, my name is Maize and I'm excited to be making my first post here into the community today.

I am a lower-class American worker, trying to pull my way (very slowly) through college. I consider myself far-left leaning and supportive of labor rights. It has not been until recently that I've started to dip my toes even deeper into working class politics.

I searched online for an active community to participate in discussion, and that is when I found Revleft. My goal here first and foremost is to learn; to experience multiple sides of a debate and to become better informed about my own ideas. Moving forward, I aspire to contribute in the discourse and hopefully draw in more fellow workers to the cause.

Thank you all for the time, and I look forward to posting with you in future!

Welcome to RevLeft Maize, I hope it can be everything you want.

At best, it certainly is a place to learn and experience many different views. Some of them might even make sense! Clarification of your own views is I think hugely important, and part of that process is testing your own pre-conceptions against the arguments of others. Good luck in your project, and I hope to see you around on the boards.

Welcome to RevLeft, comrade! There are many groups here devoted to branches of revolutionary leftism, such as anarchism, Marxism-Leninism, left communism, etc. Try not to get too put off by the bickering among the anarchists and Marxist-Leninists, or the Trotskyists and the Stalinists.

Welcome! There is quite a radical education to be had at Revleft, and you will learn to guide yourself around, engaging and avoiding according to your needs. I'm looking forward to learning where you get your tag, "Maize."

Yes I thought I had been perhaps too friendly/goofy after reading Majakovskij's comment and then I remembered my own name..... And as for the term Maize, I chose simply because I was born around corn fields in the back woods. I was raised in a tiny village of 900 pop. It's not terribly interesting!

@leftistman I have already begun to see what you're talking about haha thanks again all, and I look forward to seeing you around
