Hello everyone, or if I can say hello comrades! :D

Anyways. Hmm I guess I should start off by saying I live down South in the USA. Goergia to be specific. I feel like I'm the only person in this town with leftist views. Aside from this being the bible belt conservative red neckish place around, to put it lightly, people who think like me aren't welcome. Hell, if you think Obama did anything good you're not welcome. Of course being mixed doesn't help.

I've always kind of had some pro-leftist views starting from late middle school and up into high school. I was/still am the only one at my school who ever had anything good to say about communism/socialism. I'm also fascinated by the Juche doctrine of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. I've been interested in going on a trip with the KFA to visit there.

Welcome! Revleft is a great place to learn, and perhaps we can save you a trip to the DPRK.

There seems to be a lot of "isolated" lefties from the American South at Revleft. Perhaps you could all get together and organize a long-overdue corrective to the Confederacy. At the least, it'd be a hell of a party that could lead to a radical political party.

The awkward moment when you hope he's kidding about the Juche.

The awkward moment when you hope he's kidding about the Juche.

Why?
The DPRK was actually way more industrialized and advanced than South Korea at one point in time. The only reason it doesn't look that great now is because of the collapse of the USSR.

Juche essentially stands for self reliance. I don't think that's a bad thing if it can be achieved.

Welcome Comrade!
I may not feel so strongerly for the DPRK as you do, but you are a comrade just the same. I'm sorry to hear about you being in the Bible Belt alone. Does it smell bad there? Because I stopped in Macon, GA once and it smelled really bad OUTSIDE!!!!!
Anyway, I digress. I'm from Missouri, and it's pretty much the same over here.

I'm also new here, so if you need a newbie buddy, you've got one. Enjoy your time here, comrade.
