Event organised by the SPGB
Date: Saturday, 15th September at 2.00pm
Venue: Costa Coffee, The Nelson, Prince of Wales Road, Norwich NR1 1DX
Speaker: Pat Deutz
Much of the criticism of Marx is based not on what he actually said but on someone else's interpretation of his ideas. The so-called Marxist governments and 'communist' countries are still used as examples to discredit the yet to be realised aim of Socialism.
This talk will look at Marx's life, the development of his ideas and what he meant by capitalism and throw light on the damaging myths in order to help dispel them.
The meeting room can be accessed by going through the Costa Coffee Café and down the stairs. Once downstairs the room is set back (Prince of Wales Road end)
Free entry
All welcome
