Maybe I should have been more explicit in my original post (but I was angry, so...), but according to the two latter links in the OP, those fuckers are also going to give JobCentres the ability to "sanction" claimants for up to three years. These sanctions can be given for something as trivial as missing an appointment. So if you're late and your adviser is a total twat, you can have your benefits stopped for three years!

I would actually really love to know what the hell they are thinking, because not knowing exactly why they are doing these evil, hateful and downright stupid things just makes it worse. At least if I knew I would be able to get to grips better with their dysfunction.

However, I don't think they would ever let "scum" like me sit in on their deliberations, despite the fact that for all their wealth, connections and nobby private schools I'm probably smarter and better educated than most of those shit-stains.

I am honestly beginning to wonder if they actually do.

It just never fucking stops does it. Week after week its just an endless torrent of new ways for the govt to kick the workers, the poor and the vulnerable in the teeth whilst openly aiding and supporting their stinking bourgeois institutes and colleagues.

Significantly cutting benefits and welfare, forcing disabled and terminally ill people into work, cutting back on essential services and paying off countless local govt workers etc etc etc....

Its getting so bad that i am beginning to get the feeling that they genuinely are doing it to elicit a certain large scale reaction for a certain purpose.

The really confusing thing about this is how people, ordinary and occasionally even reasonable people, fall for the supposed ideology behind all this shit. You get people who are perfectly willing to put up with this shit (usually because they aren't putting up with it directly) because they believe all the shit fed to them about how great it will be for the economy and blah blah blarble fucking austerity blah. No matter how long you think about the reasoning behind this law ultimately it's impossible to see anything there except "they hate us"; how else would they countenance putting into law a measure that means people can be denied the most basic of living allowances for up to 3 years? I mean for fuck's sake are they wanting to push everyone into prisons, workhouses or starvation (so as to decrease the surplus population)?
