While violence in any form saddens me Italy brought it upon themselves.Capitalism is just industrialized monarchy. Anytime a society forms where wealth = power, and wealth pools among a minority violence is the enevitable response. I would prefer to see an equal distribution of wealth acheived peacefully, untill that happens the rise of a wealthy ruling class will eventually lead first to small acts of aggression and eventually bloody revolution.

What staggers me about the Red Brigades is that they target unionists, for assassination, kidnaps, and similar actions.

He wasn't a unionist, the article said he was alabour advisor who was drafting legislation to make it easier to fier workers.... I had re read it a couple of times to get that straight to

I was talking in general, without making any references to the specific case mentioned in the article.

I've spoke with my friend a communist, who lives in Sardinia...and he fucking hates those guys, he says they're nothing but terrorists.....and it makes sense to me to, Italy is a democracy not a corrupt dictatorship....why dont they just fuckin vote?

Bourgeois democracy is pure dictatorship, capital-dictatorship. Italy is no different than the rest of the western hemisphere. An elitist minority controlls all areas of the state - the media, schools and universities. Their regime is a totalitarian one, no better than the one Mussolini stood for.
