Hello comrades! I'm in a writing for managers class (college), and I have a formal report that is due next Sunday. The report is about identifying a problem and presenting 3 possible solutions to said problem.

I chose poverty as the problem and my 3 solutions are:
-Decreasing the cost of living
-Creating affordable colleges/vocational schools
-Critique of capitalism and advocating a conversion to a libertarian socialist society

I believe my topic for this paper is very good and I figured I could implement my political beliefs into this paper in some form. I also chose to use the term "Libertarian Socialist" because I thought if I used Anarchism or Anarcho-communism it would be very controversial.

Nonetheless, I'm still fairly new to Anarchism and revolutionary politics as a whole, so I'm no expert by any means. I do have a copy of The Conquest of Bread, albeit in pdf format, so I'll definitely use that source.

Anyway my question is, could you guys provide me with some articles that criticize capitalism and advocate converting to an anarchist society as well as if possibly provide me with some advice regarding this research paper as whole?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advanced.

What is the min req./max allowed length? If you are not writing a book that will be finished coming Sunday, the topic looks too big. Or it will be short and have a really weird and abstract feel to it, you know that bit from Louis C.K. where he says something like things that can't be don't exist?

I would not talk much about poverty in general, apparent solutions for poverty in general, real solutions for poverty in general. What could work is talk about a more specific problem that is linked with poverty, some ad-hoc hacks to deal with it, and then something that goes deeper (and that at the end maybe suggests also something about poverty in general). Like trouble paying rent, that is already a pretty big topic.

Regardless of the specific example, it is likely that a distinction between apparant and real solutions can be made between arguments employing a zoomed-in view and using a zoomed-out view. The important thing is not that the zoomed-in view gives you wrong answers about everything, but that it answers a different and less important question than what the zoomed-out view does.

I won't do your homework, but feel free to PM me and I can give you some feedback and look for typos.

Huh? The minimum/maximum length for the report is 1500-1800 words (If I go below or above the min/max length, the professor will deduct points). I doubt the critique of capitalism/transition to anarchism aspect of my paper will be longer than 2 pages. I figured it would be reasonable to discuss capitalism and anarchism in my report considering how this past year I've become interested in leftist politics. Plus in a stateless, classless society there wouldn't be any poverty.

Also, I'm only looking for suggestions and advice for articles that pertain to this aspect of my report.
