Many moons have come and gone since last I blessed this forum with my presence. But fear not, the seemingly endless torture that was my absence is at an end and ye can all bath once again in my greatness…etcetera, etcetera.
Just thought I’d start one of those traditional comeback threads informing you all that I will once more be posting regularly at Che-lives.
That is all.

Ah yes, Mr Lover! It has indeed been a while.
How did your results go?
Also, what do you think of the latest polls? Latham ain't looking to bad at the moment.

Ah yes, International House of Pancakes (or was it I Hate Pinochet?)
I received a UAI of 87...about what I expected. My Ancient History mark was 93 so I got my name in the Sydney Morning Herold :D
Latham's chances of winning are slightly higher than those of Labor's former leader (what was his name again?), but not high enough to beat bulletproof John I'm happy to say. Yes, Australia will be fortunate enough to experience another three years of economic prosperity.

I was indeed the International House of Pancakes. Congratulations on your results. What are you wanting to do next year?
Well, I suppose it pleases you that at least Latham is on the right-wing leaning part of the ALP. I'm not writing him off totally to be honest. I'm bloody glad Simon the (un)likeable is gone and most definitely forgotten.

Either a Bachelor of International Relations at Griffith or a BA at the University of Queensland. I'm told that UQ is the better Uni, but the course at Griffith is more to my liking...I'll have to see.
What course is it that you do and where?

I've actually gone off the Liberal party a bit of late but I still intend on giving them my first ever vote. Keeping Labor out must be the top priority of Australia's liberty loving citizens.

Queensland? I thought you were in NSW somewhere. I don't know why I thought that.
I'm doing Politics (International Relations) and Language at Monash Uni in Clayton.
The same liberty loving, highest ever tax paying citizens, you mean?

I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Just to let you know. And I am most definitely a "liberty lover" (liassez-faire capitalist).

You're a laissez-faire capitalist and you support the highest taxing government in Australia's history?

BTW, why do you have a statue of liberty avatar if your Australian?

Queensland? I thought you were in NSW somewhere. I don't know why I thought that.
I live on the far north coast of NSW, about 2 hours from Brisbane and 9 from Sydney.
The same liberty loving, highest ever tax paying citizens, you mean?
If Labor fulfils its promise to spend more on public services, taxes (or debt) will rise far beyond current levels.
BTW, why do you have a statue of liberty avatar if your Australian?
I view it as an international symbol of liberty. The same question could be asked of Americans who have Cuban and Palestinian flags as their avatars.

Hey, with all these idiot protestwarriors we have invading it might actually be nice to have a somewhat intelligent right-winger. That is, of course, if you are somewhat intelligent. I'll reserve judgment.

Not true. They respond in such a manner because they regard questions with blindingly obvious answers to be unworthy of serious thought.

LL was was your old rank? You do not deserve your present rank.
But it should be fun to rip apart (or watch others) your well crafted arguments again.
