So today my mom took me to the mall. I ditched her and went to the LEGO store to amuse myself while waiting for her to be done finding shoes or whatever.
So I made this:

I apologize for the crappy phone camera quality. I made LEGO workers throwing down their work helmets and raising their tools in the air despite being under threat from piggies. Some of them are watching in terror while the pigs brutalize one of their coworkers. And then I had to include the capitalist boss with the top hat. And since I had extra time I made pyramids of golden chalices behind him.
I've done something like this before at that same store, but this time it was more detailed.

Awesome! Very subversive. Too bad you didn't have any ketchup packets to squirt on the fallen comrade.
I hope you left IWW pamphlets on the table when you left

I've never thought of South Coast Plaza/Costa Mesa as "South County."
And the thing is, I don't have nearly enough free time :crying:. I go to school for 9 hours every day except Fridays, which is how my mom somehow dragged me to the mall.

Woah, woah you can't let them know our master plan! You should know that right now hundreds of FBI agents are monitoring every post on this site, now they know about our ass sitting capabilities!
Awesome setup you've got there ducky, I got a good chuckle.

Not to drag this on but I always thought that the South Coast Metro area was the demarcation line as far as central and south county. Oh well, job well done. I've made it my screen saver.
On a side note I met my wife(ex) at South Coast Plaza. Ah, what memories!

I sure hope you left it there. I don't know, when I get bored at malls I find myself in the apple store changing all of the Ipad, Iphone and Ipod backgrounds into pictures of Stalin. Afterwards, I casually walk away and enjoy the looks on the faces of those who opened the devices. Priceless.

Of course I left it there. And that sounds hilarious. "I'mma check out this iPhone and- STALIN WTF."
And jbeard, I'm flattered to know it's your screensaver :D
Honestly, I've always thought as further south of Newport Beach as the line for North/South county. I guess you *could* draw the line at 949 area codes. Which some people in my city have. But I've just never seen us as South County.

You are probably right about about the whole south of Newport thing. I keep forgetting how big the county is. I only go down there now to see my nieces, who incidentally loved your "My Little Pony" thread(also was a screen saver!), so I am not as up to date on all the logistics. So I will restate my original post as:
You kids down in the southern county have waaaaaay too much free time, after your 9 hours a day at school. Way too much. Having said that it looks pretty goddamn sweet though!;)

bring up a terminal on two computers, not near eachother, use netcat (nc command) to connect them (nc -p 12345 (or any other port) on one, then nc other-computer-ip 12345 (or whatever port you picked) on the second). Then sit at one, when someone walks up to the other one, start talkin shit via command line. It'll pop up in the terminal already open on their screen once you hit enter, like a chat.
Find the first computer's ip (to connect with the second computer) with either ifconfig or ip addr. It'll probably be 10.1.1.xyz or 192.168.1.xyz or something. Check next to the entry for 'eth0' (for wired), or 'wlan0' or 'wifi0' for wireless. It's been years since I touched an OSX machine, so the adapter could be named differently now, or maybe they don't use iproute2 or anything anymore? I don't know. Try it.
